    <content type="html">I saw Angels &amp; Demons last night at a preview showing. While there were some changes from the book I did enjoy the movie. It is paced faster and more violent than Da Vinci Code. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The new Star Trek movie is also very good. I will be going to see the new terminator movie next.</content>

    <content type="html">I just bought Elizabeth The Golden Age on dvd and watched. Elizabeth was an amazing women.I know that both movies are not historical accurate but you can read up on the subject. Their are many good books about her and I have quite a few. She just fascinates me.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I am reading a new book called the Monsters of Templeton by Lauren Groff. It is very good so far. More on this subject later.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I have to many sewing projects going(two quilts,knitting,finishing an embroidery sampler,and two costumes).If I didn't have to go to work I might finish this week or maybe sometime next year.</content>

    <content type="html">Books I have been reading this last month or so:&lt;br /&gt;Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows(of course)&lt;br /&gt;Secret Servant-Daniel Silva&lt;br /&gt;Judas Strain- James Rollin&lt;br /&gt;Territory - Emma Bull&lt;br /&gt;Alas Babylon- Pat Frank (one of my favorites)&lt;br /&gt;Sherlock Holmes &amp; Mary Russell Series - Laurie King ( wonderful series)&lt;br /&gt;His Dark Material Trilogy - Philip Pullman ( I had never read before and thought it was time}&lt;br /&gt;Stardust&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Other books purchased recently:&lt;br /&gt; Stardust Movie Guide&lt;br /&gt; Poiret from the Metropolitan Museum of Art&lt;br /&gt; Plants of Middle Earth&lt;br /&gt; Cut of Women's Clothing&lt;br /&gt; Fashion - Kyoto Costume Institute Collection (I got it for a dollar at B&amp;N)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The Midnight Harry Potter Party where I work was great. I made costumes for Rita Skeeter, Snape,Harry Potter, Moaning Myrtle. It was crowded but fun.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;I am working on a butterfly quilt for a friend and hope to have it finished by Christmas.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I'm on vacation next week and hope to get a lot a things done.</content>

    <content type="html">I just received "firefly The Official Companion Vol 2 and Charmed Knits Projects for fans of Harry Potter. The May/June issue of Piecework magazine has a nice article called "Creating and Costuming a Persona" by Pamela D. Toler.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Just read on the S&amp;S forum that Victoria magazine is going to start publishing again in the fall.I  loved that magazine.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Still working on Harry Potter costumes for work. The Rita Skeeter one is going to take the most time but I found the perfect pattern(Burda8164)to base it on. The trim is the hardest. I haven't found anything I like yet.</content>

    <content type="html">At the bookstore I work at our manager has decided that for Harry Potter Night we will all dress up as characters from the books. But we can't say who we are because Scholastic Books has prohibited us doing that for copy write infringement. Oh well as least we will know who we are.&lt;br /&gt;I am making several school robes, a Rita Skeeter,Professor Sprout and Professor Trewlawney costume. I am also dressing our window will items related to the movies and books. Everyone is very excited and looking forward to July.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I just finished the Harry Dresden Files books and am waiting to read the next one which comes out tomorrow. I also finished reading Mr. Darcy's Diary, The Secret of Lost Things,Sebastian, Plum&lt;br /&gt;Lovin,Hollywood Stuff and rereading several old but favorite books(Alas,Babylon-Pride and Prejudice-House of Many Shadows).I do have Children of Hurin on order at work and of course Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.I always have alot of books on hold waiting for me to buy.I love reading.</content>

    <content type="html">I've just got to remember to post more. I just finished a new book called Ysabel by Guy Gavriel Kay. I was wonderful. It's about two teens who become involved in a centuries old love triangle in France. It is very well written and I just couldn't put in down.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I've been watching the new Harry Dresden tv series so I decided to reread the books. There are some differences but they are both good.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Can't wait to see the new movie 300. I should be very good. But then it would, it has Gerry Butler in it. Oh yeah!</content>

    <content type="html">I just finished reading THE THIRTEENTH TALE by Diane Setterfield and it was wonderful. It will be released on September 12. It's about a young woman who is invited to write a bio about a writer who never tells the the truth about her past. They both have secrets and the tell of them change them both. I just couldn't put it down, it was that good.I am so glad I work in a bookstore, just so I can read new books coming out. It helps we I have to recommend something to read.</content>

    <content type="html">Jacqueline Winspear has a new Maise Dobbs book coming out Aug 22 called Messenger of Truth. Yea! Just finished reading Book of the Dead by Preston and Child. Excellent read.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I am working to completely organize by sewing room and books. It could take forever. I never realize how many books I have. I keep finding lace trimmings and ribbons I didn't even know I had. I'm hoping that my garage sale will make soon money to buy more fabric and book. I know I'm completely hopeless and my house is always going to look like an out of control bookstore and fabric store.&lt;br /&gt;At least my cat likes it.</content>

If you are a fan of Jane Austen and like reading other storylines dealing with her or her work, you'll like this book. It has an element of time travel and loving two different women. I enjoyed it very much but then again I do love anything Jane Austen.</content>

    <content type="html">Well since it's a new I have decided to reorganize my entire sewing room and try and get rid of things I know longer need. I also need to go through my fabric stash and weed out things I don't think I'll ever use. Going through all my paperback books was hard enough. I didn't think I could get any of them up but I got rid of several boxes that's just hope my fabric is easier.</content>
